Herman is an admitted Attorney, Notary, Conveyancer and registered Professional Valuer and manages our Great Brak River office in the Western Cape. The office specialises in Property and Commercial Law which includes property transfers, bond registrations and cancellations and property valuations. Notarial services include Antenuptial contracts, Notarial certification, registration of servitudes.
He obtained his B.Proc degree from the North-West University in 1984, and completed his articles at Kotzé Low Swanepoel in Vryburg. After being admitted as an attorney in 1989, and a notary in 1990, Herman obtained a diploma in property valuation in 1991. He was registered as an associated valuer in 1995, and as conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa 5 years later. In 2002, he was registered as a professional valuer. For Herman, quality of service, a strong work ethic and his reputation are very important. As an analytical thinker with over 20 years of property experience, he is able to advise clients on their property transactions. He is known for his high standard of service to clients. Herman is involved in his local community since relocating to the Western Cape Province in 2018. Herman is a keen amateur golfer, with running being part of his daily routine.
Herman is married to Leana, also an admitted Attorney and registered family law mediator. As parents to two married daughters and two grandchildren, Herman and Leana values the importance of quality time with family and friends. They share their home with two Jack Russell Terriers, Eddie and Lucy.
