Karen is an associate with 24 years' experience as an attorney. She works in the conveyancing department, handling a full range of residential conveyancing work as well as estates. Her varied caseload includes sales, purchases, remortgages as well as estate administration, with files handled from start to finish.
Through her experience, she has developed exceptional client care skills, together with strong written and verbal communication, both with clients and colleagues. Karen obtained her BLC and LL.B Degrees from the University of Pretoria in 1994 and 1996 respectively. She completed her articles of clerkship at Venter, Booysen & Ferreira Attorneys in 1999 and was admitted as attorney and conveyancer of the High Court of Kimberley, South Africa in the same year. Karen has since been actively practising as an attorney and conveyancer. Karen was also admitted as a Notary of the High Court of Mafikeng, South Africa on 8 March 2024.
Beyond strong legal skills, Karen has a business-minded approach to work and greatly enjoys being involved in non-legal projects such as the Governing Body of the schools that her children attend. Karen believes that a healthy mind breeds a healthy body and frequently exercises under the watchful eyes of a Bio Kineticist.
